Our Mission

Rooted in Mark 16:15-18

Mission Statement

Paving a path for a generation on fire for God, igniting a new passion in a broken and isolated world by forging connections through worship, fellowship, and prayer.

Why Winter Worship Exists

Why Winter Worship Exists

Winter Worship is put together with a desire to see students grow closer to God and be strengthened through worship. We gather in the winter because there is something meaningful about beginning a new year with Jesus; slowing down, seeking Him, and preparing our hearts to follow Him faithfully.

At the center of it all is the mission Jesus gave us in Mark 16:15: to go into the world and share the good news.

Rooted in Jesus' Teaching

Rooted in Jesus' Teaching

"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”
Mark 16:15

Winter Worship is not just about one night of worship. It is about preparing students to leave with renewed faith, surrendered hearts, and a deeper desire to follow Jesus wherever He sends them.

Our Core Values

We want you to take these back home with you

Worship

Worship recenters our hearts on Jesus. In a world full of noise and distraction, worship gives us space to remember who God is and respond to Him with surrender, gratitude, and joy.

Prayer

Prayer draws us closer to God and teaches us to depend on Him. It is where we slow down, bring our lives before Him, listen for His voice, and learn to trust Him with what comes next.

Mission

The Mission Jesus has called us to is more than a moment. Mark 16:15 reminds us to go and share the good news, living with purpose wherever God sends us.

The Global Mission

Winter Worship is about more than one night of worship. We believe worship should lead us toward the mission Jesus gave us: to go into the world and share the good news. That is why the Winter Worship team is committed to giving toward Live Dead, an organization that helps plant churches and reach people in unreached areas around the world.

As we gather students to worship, pray, and be strengthened in their faith, we also want to remember that God’s mission is bigger than our campus and community. Giving to Live Dead is one way we can partner in carrying the gospel to places where many have not yet heard about Jesus.
